I have a formal education in photography form the Rochester Institute of Technology.
I first worked as an industrial photographer as a co-op student at NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center. There I designed and help build a system for producing color hard copies from CRT monitors. This facilitated the Domestic Information System and the Atmospheric Information Processing Center to easily obtain images for presentation. For this I received an official government commendation for my work. An article was published in Industrial Photography describing the difficulties and success of this project.
I have worked as a staff photographer for General Dynamics, Electric Boat Division and The Foxboro Company (now Schneider Electric). I have been on my own working with business providing photography for publication and presentation.
My specialty is commercial product photography, specializing in industrial studio and location imaging. I also work in public relations providing event coverage and corporate headshots.
I also volunteer as an archivist for the Greater Providence YMCA’s resident summer camp.
